 The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a man, Tobi Obadina, for brutally stabbing a singer, Tiwa Banks, in the

neck on Monday.

Banks, who is currently writhing in pains in hospital, was allegedly stabbed by Obadina, her landlord’s youngest son.

The suspect was said to have entered Bank’s apartment at 20, Yusuf Street, Alimosho, Lagos, in the night to settle a misunderstanding they had during the day, only to break a bottle on her head. He also allegedly stabbed her multiple times.

Obadina reportedly fled after the attack, leaving the victim in a pool of blood.

A police source confirmed the incident adding that Obadina was arrested on Monday morning.

The police spokesperson in the state, Ngozi Braide, said she had heard about the incident but had yet to get an official report.

This is really sad and barbaric...the Landlord must be brought to justice.
