British-Nigerian woman, Joy Williams, 24, has died in Thailand after suffering from an infection which resulted from a buttock augmentation operation went wrong.

Telegraph UK, William is from Thamesmead London, but was born in Lagos, Nigeria.
Reports revealed that she had travelled to Bangkok, the Thai capital, earlier this month for the £2,000 (N530,000) buttock augmentation surgery –  inserting silicone implants into a patient’s buttocks. She underwent the operation on October 14, only to be in severe pains for days and had to return to the clinic on Thursday to have the implants removed, however she died shortly after the second operation.
The doctor who carried out the latest surgery, Sompob Sansiri, has been charged with causing her death by negligence and accused of carrying out night-time surgery without a license.
Williams is said to have struggled with self-esteem issues, and had previously had plastic surgery on her nose.
